YBhg Dato Sr Peter Tan
Founder & Advisor
Founder & Managing Director of PKT. He holds a Bachelor of Building (QS) from the University of Melbourne and is registered as a Fellow and CQS of the AIQS, CQS with BQSM & RICS, and member of RISM. With close to 50 years of experience in the construction industry, he has undertaken projects in both Malaysia and Australia, and is well versed with managing both boutique and mega projects. Dato Peter has also been appointed onto the Industry Advisory Panel for the Built Environment Faculty of University Malaya.
Sr Khor Peh Sin
Director - Malaysia
Director of PKT Malaysia, and key member for 30 years, he holds a Bachelor of Building and Masters of Project Management from UNSW, and is registered with BQSM, RISM & AIQS. With 30 years of experience in the Malaysian industry, he is a specialist in contract administration, and leads his teams in advising clients on the best methods of procurement to achieve ultimate cost efficiency on projects.
Phillip Tan
BIM Director, Director - Australia
Phillip learnt his trade as a Quantity Surveyor in the University of Melbourne, Australia, completing his Bachelor of Environments, majoring in Construction and his Masters of Construction Management, specializing in Cost Consultancy. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS) and has been a crucial member of the integration of BIM systems in PKT.
lEON SPALAS
Director - Australia
Director of PKT Australia. For 24 years,Leon has provided accurate and reliable cost management services in all facetsof cost management specializing in financier reporting. He has worked acrossall phases of building and construction projects, from preliminary through topost construction ranging from offices, retails, hotels, childcare hospitality,education, commercial and residential projects.
1991
PKT International set up in Malaysia as a new start up from Australia. Later rebranded as Perunding Kos T&K Sdn Bhd.
2006
Invested into CAD measurement technology after using digital plenimeters since our inception.
2012
Started our journey with BIM measurement software, developing 3D models inhouse for quantity calculations.
2019
Won the inaugural RICS QS Team of the Year award for South East Asia.
2023
Rebranded as PKT Quantity Surveyors, and opened our new office in Australia.
